This project explores narrative portraiture through multimedium techniques, blending oil painting, brushing charcoal, and eco-conscious materials. Drawing inspiration from the Southeast Asian myth The Snail Girl, the project examines the intersection of storytelling and visual art.

The project comprises two complementary works: an oil painting focusing on scene and autmoshpere to depict the myth's climactic moment, and a charcoal drawing employing directional lines to explore light and shadow within the same narrative. By approaching the same theme through distinct mediums and styles, this study delves into the relationship between visual storytelling, material experimentation, and folklore-inspired art.
